Photography has been something I have enjoyed for about 30 years. I remember my first camera, a Chinon 35mm film. That camera took fantastic pictures. It literally was the camera that launched what has become at time, an obsession. These days, I truly flirt with my camera’s. Based on how life is at the moment, I will pick one up, or not. The last two weeks i have made it a goal to take one every where I go. Here was a shot of the table located directly behind me at #coopershalk , though the reflection of window to my side.. Tonight we had dinner at what has become one of our “traditions” when going out with out with Andrzej , Victor , Edyta & Szymon. It’s probably the only time we sit and talk. We have a rule, no phones out. This seems to be an impossible feat for one of them. Seems there is always mysteriously a reason to take it out to check on “this or that”. Despite that, the evening was enjoyable. Szymon is holding a wine glass here. No, he did not drink, it was a prop. When I was a young boy and into my teens, there was a bond between all our friends that ran very deep. We would all look forward to getting together after a meeting or the “District Convention”, spending time at the Pewter Pot or if we were going to splurge, the Kowloon. As time has passed in this world, some are in our memories, never to be forgotten because they had a major impact on our lives and even brought forth life. It has been 3 years since a childhood friend and the mother of two of the most special people in my life has died. She is certainly in the hearts and minds of hundreds of people this time of year. More importantly, she in in the remembrance of the one who will make all things right again...

Ventured out today and landed in downtown Naperville. It was amazing weather for mid-December and there were people all along the Riverwalk. We met this mom & daughter taking pictures. Suri (mom) was assisting her daughter (Sarah) with a photography project for school. Maybe it was due to taking my Dslr with me for the walk, they stopped me and asked a question... We are not ones to eat out very often, so we find that we would rather cook at home then head out to a place that has a good atmosphere. One new place we have found is in St Charles inside the Hotel Baker. We have met a few of the bartenders there and all are just great.... #hotelbaker #stcharles

Edyta and I unexpectedly purchased this, a 1993 Porsche 968 back in late June. We came across it via a mutual friend who recommended we purchase it as it was in amazing shape and only had 28K miles. Due to wanting to find a great mechanic to do some much needed work to replace the aging rubber belts (Timing, Balance Shaft), we did not drive it too much. Only about 1100 miles till today. But this thing runs GREAT and we really look forward to next year driving everywhere with the top down! Now, it’s time to put her away for the winter!..
