I have only been to Toronto on 4 occasions. After each visit, returning has the awe of seeing it for the first time again. Not sure if it’s because of the fact that for a major city, it just seems peaceful and clean or if it’s due to the fact that the residents seem to actually enjoy the company of each other. Likely a combination of these and other things. #toronto #cntower #fujix100f

Like with so many sports, sponsorship plays a huge roll in funding things like the #bostonmarathon . Without this type of financial support, events this large would just not be possible. This year, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze was the sponsor of the evening dinner prior to the race. This was the first such event like this in which I had ever attended. All I can say, is how impressed I was, with the contribution in which was made by #almondbreeze , the organization in which it took to pull of such an event and the amazing food in which was served. I truly did not expect this to be anything like it was. A BIG thank you to this wonderful organization, which i am proud to say I am affiliated with! And thank you, for extending the opportunity to be able to participate in this years marathon. Having grown up in Boston, it was somewhat of an emotional experience for me today. If you get an opportunity, please try any of their products , especially the new almond breeze yogurt line that is launching this week! #bostonmarathon #almondbreeze #bluediamondalmondbreeze

Was interesting to listen to Victor explain what he knew about the city of Salem, MA. After visiting the various historic sites, I bet money he goes and does a bunch more research. I think the funniest reaction from him was when I explained that I actually went on a field trip from my school, to the very same spot when i was his age... #historicsalem #salemma

Ania is a bit of shy one, so trying to convince her that she is actually helping me test a lens and my light meter was the only way to get her to sit still for a moment and relax for a picture. Or just maybe it was the wine... the 2nd glass. :). #canon5dmarkiv #canon70200mm #canon70200f28 #sekonicl358

My very first car was a 1966 Corvair. It was given to me by a family friend who was moving away. She probably really hoped it would serve me well and that I would take care of it. Sadly, I just did not know much about cars and did not know how to take care of it. And I certainly had no money to have someone else do the work. Years later, I began to appreciate the joy of a classic car. To the prior owner of this vehicle, I promise I will take care of this and if the time ever comes when I can’t or won’t, I will pass it along to someone who will. 1993 Porsche 968. @ 29,990 miles. #canon5dmarkiv #canon35mm14 #porsche968

Speaking of where I grew up..... Although I travel from Chicago to Boston regularly, I don’t get to this end of Everett very often. Honestly, if someone blindfolded me dropped me off in this exact spot, it would probably take some serious convincing to get me to realize this is Everett, my hometown. After all, I was just in Vegas last month and this exact building was there. #encore #everettma #fujix100f

When I was a kid, I remember us kids all meeting on “the wall”. We would just hang out, some sitting some talking. I even remember the first hand held gaming systems that were starting to come around. The Coleco Electronic Quarterback (circa 1978). It was a massive handheld game system with a two inch screen in which little dots would move in play formation. This shot basically proves, not much has change but the location.
