My very first car was a 1966 Corvair. It was given to me by a family friend who was moving away. She probably really hoped it would serve me well and that I would take care of it. Sadly, I just did not know much about cars and did not know how to take care of it. And I certainly had no money to have someone else do the work. Years later, I began to appreciate the joy of a classic car.
