We met “Papa John”, as he likes to be called , after walking up to his table as we left dinner. I noticed him when he came in and was directed to his table. He ate alone. As we walked out, I introduced myself and offered that if he sees us again, expect and invite to our table. Later that night we got a chance to chat more. His wife died last year and this was a regular trip for them. He said he could not imagine not coming here after so many years of doing so with his wife.....
